Norm was born in Calgary, Alberta and attended high school in Lloydminster Alberta. He has extensive experience mediating agreements, engaging in principled negotiations, and habitually achieves the best outcome for his clients using this skillset. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and then left the province briefly to obtain his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Manitoba. Norm spent some time in technology management in Edmonton, Alberta, prior to starting to practice law in Slave Lake, Alberta.
Upon completing his law articles in Slave Lake, he moved to join a personal injury law firm in Calgary, Alberta. After some years with that firm, he opened his own law firm. During that time, Norm held a position of professor at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and Red Deer University teaching classes in Personal Injury, Civil Litigation and Business Law. Norm joined Grover Law Firm so that he could continue to specialize in his passion, which is personal injury law and litigation. Norm has over 24 years of practicing law, with a focus on litigation. He is thoroughly familiar with the Alberta Court system. He has appeared in court for over 24 years at all levels of the court system. Norm has at times appeared in court up to 5 days a week. He has a deep and comprehensive knowledge of the processes and procedures of presenting cases to the court and knows that technique is often just as important as the law when it comes to having your case decided in your favour. Regardless of the complexity or conflict in your legal matter, Norm has the experience you need to maximize your case’s settlement. Norm’s interests outside of law include mountain biking, skiing, and martial arts.
