Sean is an experienced litigator with a background in Civil Litigation and Criminal Defence. Prior to joining the Grover Law team, Sean operated his own full service general law practice which exposed him to various areas of law, including Wills and Estates, Civil and Criminal Litigation, Employment Law, Human Rights Law, and Constitutional Law, among others. Sean also became one of a handful of lawyers in Alberta specialized in Covid-19 litigation during the height of the pandemic.
Prior to undertaking law school, Sean graduated from Mount Royal University with a History degree in 2014. He then attended the University of Saskatchewan where he graduated with a Juris Doctor law degree in 2019, before being called to the bar in Alberta in 2020. With over 20 years of experience in the Canadian Army and a combat tour to Afghanistan in 2008, Sean brings a pragmatic, yet strategic approach to resolving client matters. Likewise, Sean is always prepared to appear in Court to advocate on behalf of his clients to ensure their rights and interests are being protected.
Sean is a member of the Calgary Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association (CBA), the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association (ACTLA), the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys (ATAA), and the American Association for Justice (AAJ). Outside of work, Sean enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, travelling, and being outdoors. He also has a keen interest in classic Simpsons trivia, Scotch, and Lego.
